Hello, I’m Catherine
A licensed Paralegal with over 25 years experience helping employers settle WSIB claims and a proven track record of successful results. You can trust in my ability to help you navigate the claims process, create positive back-to-work scenarios, and respond to or pursue appeals. I focus on finding meaningful, timely solutions, so you can focus on keeping your daily business on track.
When faced with a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claim or appeal, the nature and timing of your response is crucial. I can help you understand your responsibilities as an employer and what’s expected of you when an employee is injured on the job.

Why choose a Paralegal?
Many people don’t realize the duties performed by paralegals and lawyers are very much the same — both conduct research and prepare legal documents. Paralegals do the same preparation for a case, including investigating facts, researching case law, writing briefs/submissions and presenting legal arguments to Tribunals and the Courts.
Paralegals are licensed to advise on most Ontario laws and often provide a more direct, hands-on approach. This fosters close in-person relationships with clients, which is especially important in helping employers feel supported through WSIB claims.
Paralegals and lawyers are both regulated by The Law Society in Ontario, to ensure they meet appropriate standards of learning, competence and professionalism.
