ARE YOUR PREVENTION AND LOSS PROGRAMS THE “BEST” THEY CAN BE?
As we enter the fourth quarter of 2020, a historical year, consider the opportunity to evaluate your health and safety program components and plan to improve those elements that require updates due to statutory requirements or because it makes sense to move towards best practices.
The pandemic has demanded a change to how we work, where we work (for some) and, most certainly, how we exchange products and services. For some employers this has meant complete overhaul to their work environments to others who have needed to implement hygiene measures.
My office specializes in assisting employers with the components after prevention of the accident failed. Control of that loss can still be achieved through effective best practices in the following areas. When was the last time you evaluated these programs to ensure they are the best in the industry?
1. Injury/Accident Investigation,
2. Accommodation/Return To Work, and
3. Claim and Disability Management
